Businessmen in the Volgograd region are trained in the basics of working with export. Since 2016, the educational project of the Russian Export Center has been successfully implemented in the region. During this time, more than 300 entrepreneurs have completed full-time courses. 64 of them - since the beginning of 2018, reports Gorodskiye Vesti news agency with reference to the regional committee for economic policy and development.
The program includes 11 full-time courses, including an introduction to export activities, studying the legal nuances of working with foreign partners, tax aspects and much more. After training, each student receives a certificate of participation in the program of specialized seminars of the REC Export School. The next classes for entrepreneurs will be held on August 16 and 31.
The official operator of the REC in the Volgograd region is the Export Support Center for the regional business incubator. Since the beginning of the year, over 80 small and medium-sized enterprises have received support here. With the assistance of the center, they concluded about 35 export contracts.
Recall export support is one of the key areas of work of the regional authorities. Governor Andrei Bocharov in a program message on November 23, 2017 noted that the region faces an ambitious task to increase the gross regional product to 1 trillion rubles by 2021. And this cannot be achieved without intensifying foreign economic activity.
