The filing of applications for the All-Russian award "Exporter of the Year"

On February 15, at the Forum in Sochi, the Russian Export Center announces the start of filing applications for the All-Russian Award “Exporter of the Year”. The award was initiated at the highest level - by the National Project “International Cooperation and Export”, which was developed in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On National Goals and Strategic Tasks of the Development of the Russian Federation for the Period until 2024”.

According to REC estimates, more than 1000 companies will be able to take part in the competition, including representatives of both large business and small businesses. The award will be held in two stages. The first is at the level of all federal districts, the second is at the level of the Federation. The award ceremony will be held at the end of 2019 as part of the Made in Russia Forum.

The award was established to support and develop domestic export-oriented business, to identify and encourage “champions” of export activity and to promote best practices and practices in international trade

The submission of applications through the REC website will be open from February 18. Electronic questionnaires will allow simplicity and transparency of the procedure when analyzing participants' profiles. At the initial stage, exporters will be asked for a minimum package of documents.

Among the nominations are the presentation of the prize in the categories of “New Geography”, “Breakthrough of the Year”, “High Technologies”, “Services”, “Industry” and “AIC”. During the preliminary stage, the expert council will select projects that meet a number of criteria, for example, among other things, the level of export activity, the quality of export results (the appearance of new export products, expansion of the export range), the company's participation in international projects, etc. will be evaluated.

In addition, the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be able to claim the Commemorative Badge "For the Best Regional Export Support System", international and foreign organizations - "For a special contribution to the development of international cooperation." Commemorative badges “For a Special Contribution to Export Development” may be awarded to officials of state authorities and local authorities, as well as Russian organizations and individual entrepreneurs.

The Best Russian Exporter Award was established in 1998. Since 2008, the Prize has been held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in order to support the export of industrial products, assist domestic exports and create mechanisms to stimulate them.

Who can become a member

Organizations and individual entrepreneurs may participate in the competition, which, as of no earlier than 30 calendar days before the date of application for participation in the district stage of the competition, meets the following requirements:

• - the absence of an unfulfilled obligation to pay taxes, fees, insurance premiums, penalties, fines, interest payable in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on taxes and fees;
• the absence of arrears in returning to the budget of the budget system of the Russian Federation, subsidies, budget investments and other arrears to the budget of the budget system of the Russian Federation;
• legal entities should not be in the process of reorganization, liquidation, bankruptcy;
• individual entrepreneurs should not be in the process of terminating the activities of an individual as an individual entrepreneur;
• legal entities should not be foreign legal entities or persons in the authorized capital of which the share of participation of foreign legal entities in the aggregate does not exceed 50%.
